Meta is developing a dedicated prediction market application named Arena. The platform will operate on a model similar to Kalshi and Polymarket, allowing users to forecast outcomes across sports, politics, news, and entertainment.

The service will initially operate on a points-based system rather than real currency. Participants will select event outcomes and earn credits for accurate forecasts. Meta plans to evaluate this engagement model before potentially introducing monetary wagering in later stages.The project aims to shift user interaction from passive discussion to active, gamified forecasting. Company representatives view the platform as a method to increase daily engagement across its ecosystem.
